OUR MISSION: To facilitate communication among glass artists, to encourage education and promote excellence in the glass arts.

Glue Chipping Glass is easier than you might think. All that's needed are a
few materials and a little experimenting. You can chip on a variety of glasses
such as clear, colored cathedral or flashed glass.  You can also chip bottles,
jars and even mirrors.

The glue used for chipping glass is animal hide glue or "glass chipping glue"
and can be purchased through most stained glass retailers and art shops.
It should be granular and is usually sold by the pound.  One pound will generally chip between 7 to 10 square feet of glass (up to 1 square meter).

The basic steps are:

  1. Prepare Glass Mix glue
  2. Apply glue
  3. Let dry
  4. Clean with warm water

Subsequent tips will take you through this process.
